Introducing Author Nonnie Jules

Nonnie Jules is a hugely talented author. I have read, and got blown away by, her Daydream’s Daughter, Nightmare’s Friend, reviewed it with a well deserved five stars, and absolutely recommend it. It deals with extreme childhood trauma, and is a terrifying look behind the closed doors of homes where these things have happened, and continue to happen, damaging some souls forever, but sometimes giving others the opportunity to find the strength to lift themselves up and become so much better than their beginnings gave them the chance to. Nonnie is also a tireless supporter of Indie authors, a wonderful woman to be able to call friend, and an absolute powerhouse of ideas and energy. And here she is.

The Author

NONNIE Jules grew up loving books and everything about them. She has traveled the world, jumped out of planes and climbed many mountains, all thanks to the wonderful world of literature. She lives with her husband and two daughters on a very quiet strip of land in Louisiana, where red dirt roads and pick-up trucks go hand in hand. She is the Author of three great reads at present: “THE GOOD MOMMIES’ GUIDE TO RAISING (ALMOST) PERFECT DAUGHTERS,” 100 Tips On Raising Daughters Everyone Can’t Help But Love!; “Daydream’s Daughter, Nightmare’s Friend” (a novel); and “SUGARCOATIN’ IS FOR CANDY & PACIFYIN’ IS FOR KIDS!” Nonnie is also Founder and President of the widely-known Rave Reviews Book Club, as well as being a sought-after book reviewer with a strong “eye” for perfection.

She continues to write from many different genres and hopes to teach and touch minds and hearts alike with her very unique style of writing. She loves positive feedback on her writing and personally responds to each and every email. Nonnie can be reached at nonniewrites@yahoo.com, on TWITTER, on FaceBook, and do follow her blogs WATCH NONNIE WRITE and ASK THE GOOD MOMMY.

Nonnie’s feet are firmly planted in her two most important platforms: Parenting & Support, where she continually invites the masses to join her.

Legends of Windemere: Family of the Tri-Rune is set to debut on Sunday, March 16th!!!

The magical adventure continues after Luke Callindor and his friends recover from their battles in Haven.

Nyx still has nightmares about casting the genocide spell in Hero’s Gate. Every night her heart is gripped by the sensation of hundreds of goblins dying by her magic. By the request of Lord Highrider and Duke Solomon, she is returning to fix the damage she caused. With Luke Callindor and Sari by her side, Nyx is ready to face the vengeful goblins and opportunistic thieves that plague Hero’s Gate. Yet, there is a darker threat that was born from her violated magic: The Krypters.

It is another action-packed, character driven story that will reveal one of our heroes has been lied to for their entire life.

About the Author:

Charles author photo B&WCharles Yallowitz was born and raised on Long Island, NY, but he has spent most of his life wandering his own imagination in a blissful haze. Occasionally, he would return from this world for the necessities such as food, showers, and Saturday morning cartoons. One day he returned from his imagination and decided he would share his stories with the world. After his wife decided that she was tired of hearing the same stories repeatedly, she convinced him that it would make more sense to follow his dream of being a fantasy author. So, locked within the house under orders to shut up and get to work, Charles brings you Legends of Windemere. He looks forward to sharing all of his stories with you and his wife is happy he finally has someone else to play with.

Introducing Author Lucy Pireel

Introducing author Lucy Pireel, and her book Menu of Death. There’s a rumour in the writer’s universe that Lucy has somehow found away to time travel, and that’s how she manages to write, edit, support other indie writers, and quite a lot more that she gets done. I’ve also asked her to explain a little about her latest project. Read on!

About the Author:

Now this is really cool. Author Lucy Pireel (left) sitting next to the book’s cover model, Sihona Saf Robins.

Lucy Pireel is a writer who doesn’t let herself be restricted to any one genre. She loves to write in whatever direction her current story leads her.
When she’s not writing, or reading, she is practicing or teaching yoga, her other passion. Or she could be on a long hike somewhere in the beautiful British nature.
Being an author it is almost a given she has a great love for chocolate and coffee to live on while writing, but she doesn’t shy away from trying to prepare intricate dishes, for cooking is another thing she enjoys.

How To Tie The Reader To The Book

Us authors are always looking for ways to engage with the reader, to try and get them to invest in us, in our words on an emotional level, but I’ve gone a step further and tried something else.

Why not try and make that reader a part of the process and give them the chance to be there along the way with me. To be able to say, “Without me that book wouldn’t have been published!”

For that reason, and the obvious one, I’ve started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.com http://igg.me/at/OriginsRevealed/x/5686782 to that purpose.
People can contribute to the campaign and the funds raised will all go towards getting my new full length novel The Power of Three. Because let’s be honest this indie business is a costly one if you want to do it right.

There’s editing and professional, high end editors don’t come cheap, and then there’s cover design, but the main reason for me is marketing.

The campaign itself is a marketing tool due to the fact it gets my name out there. Also supporters will receive perks in the form of my other books, or original artwork, a mentioning in the book, here is the one thing that should tie my reader to me and the book.

Will it tie potential readers of the novel to the book? I have no idea, this is an experiment which I hope will succeed, because it would be great if authors could start a new movement and stop with the endless ‘buy my book’ posts on social media and find a new way to engage with potential readers of their work even in the pre-published stage.

Thanks for joining us today Lucy, and all the very best with this. Be sure to come back and share how it all went.
